#0010 - Eighter

As I was messing about making this meaty spider monster, I had an idea: what if instead giving this monsters eight eyes (like a normal spider would have), I just had one cyclopian eye that was a #8 Billiard ball? So...I did.

So, much like with the Nissacom (#0008), spider creatures share a suffix (-ter) to denote that they share a common phylogeny among other arachnids.

Bestiary Description:
Hulking around on four massive legs (each tipped with a venomous stinger), these monstrous arachnids are a nightmare to anyone, not just arachnophobes. Even while possessing just a single eye, the Eighter bears no fear of being blinded as the orb in it's socket is as hard as ivory. Unlike other spider that bind their prey in order to suck out their fluids, the Eighter prefers to dine on the flesh itself.
In order to do this, it paralyzes it's prey with it's fast acting venom and proceeds to crush it's prey into a pulp so it may feast on the meaty jelly. Gruesome.
