#0020 - Adniel, Weather Wielder & Cryomancer

I like more unconventional fantasy races. Nothing really against elves and gnomes, but I like change-ups of more traditional races. I have some elves and the like coming in the future, but I try to make them slightly different than the norm. With that said, let's make our way into the open air and visit the Cloud Kingdom.

High in the sky, you will find Kingdom of the Clouds, home to the cloud people known as the Nimbus who wield the very elements as both tools and weapons.

This is Adniel. While she is the Highest High Chief's daughter and has responsibilities as a Princess, she yearns for adventure and wants nothing more than to be known for her own achievement, not simply because she is the decedent of Kings.

She is still training to master control of Air and Electric magic, but makes up for her lack in those areas with her unmatched control of Ice magic, attaining the highest rank of Frost Magicianry; Cryomancer (the Ice equivalent of a Pyromancer).

 

The cloud people I have in my world are inspired in no small part to the cloud people of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Adniel's alternate costume is an homage to Mallow from that game, and her belt is even a direct reference, as Mallow wears a belt with the Emblem of a Frog on it.

I really like Adniel a lot and hope to have her appear in other pieces in the future.
