#0017 - Xiamara, Catcher of Unclean Rists
What with theses Rists (Spirits) floating around causing trouble, it's only natural some would rise to the task of helping them pass on or otherwise make them leave their haunting grounds. Xiamara is one of those people.
The concept of this "Ghost Hunter" was loosely based on the Poe Collecter from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (The Zelda series was also the inspiration in a way for me calling ghosts by a different name).
Instead of collecting spirits as some sort of strange Hobby, Xiamara was able to turn this into her full-time job. She was born with the gift to see Rists without the need of warding candles and as such was besought by noble and peasant alike to rid them of Ristly visitations. She has virtually every Warding spell memorized by heart and can clear a haunted location in half the time of other exorcists for almost the same price, making her highly sought after.
She rarely has a night where she doesn't have a close encounter with a Rist, so she is constantly nodding off any chance she has a spare moment to try and catch a few Z's.
